Sorry I've been away...

I didn't realize it had been so long since I've blogged. Adding an addition to our family really has had me very busy over the past 2 months. My husband also had 2 knee surgeries, adding his needs to my long list of "to do's". I so love being a mom. The kids keep me occupied and watching them learn and grow has been an amazing experience. This past week I took my daughter to a play-date at a local "family fun center". Basically, a building with an indoor playground, bowling, games, etc. there was a toddler area that we sat at. It was amazing to see her reaction to the other kids running around while she was perfectly happy to sit right next to me. I think she's waiting for her body to grow so that she can do things the "right" way without crawling first. Yesterday she decided that she will no longer crawl up the steps but instead wants to "walk" up them even though her legs are not quite long enough.

As for my adorable son, he grows bigger everyday. we've just wrapped up his first week sleeping in his own room and it is going fairly well. He's still not sleeping through the night, but I think he's close! At 8 weeks, he's wearing 3-6 mth sizes! i can't believe how quickly the time is flying by.

Both my husband and I are still unemployed. I've had 2 interviews this month, but so far no promising leads. I pray that this draught will end for us soon. I fear that we will lose the house and that stress has kept me up nights. I hope that this stimulus package goes into effect quickly and my husband's company finds projects soon, we are pretty desparate at this point.

I'm looking forward to spring as always. I really need to open the windows and shake the dust of winter off. Now that we live in a state that has no snow - the winter seems to last longer than ever. At least with the snow you can go and play. Here it's just cold and dreary.

I'm afraid that my update blog is fairly depressing, but unfortunately this is where we are at the moment. Keep us in your prayers!
