Punkin' Chunkin'

We went to the big event in De yesterday... and it was actually interesting to see huge machines built to fire Pumpkins long distances. Of course it was also a big attraction for a bunch of whackos to break out the alcohol as early as they possibly could. But since we were there during the daylight hours, I'm sure we were spared the most of the alcoholic crowd. The baby didn't much care for the noise of the air guns and I was disappointed not to see more activity from the "old fashioned" sling shot machines. But I'm sure there will be a time that we go back again..... You never know - we might end up being part of that drunken crowd... LOL
